Texas High School Basketball - Tolar holds off Muenster

The Tolar Rattlers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Muenster Hornets to 49 in the Rattlers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rattlers now have a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Peaster for a 3A Region I District 8 game on Friday, January 3. Tolar will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 52-45 non-league win over Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Muenster falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Lindsay (Lindsay, TX) to confront the Knights in a 2A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, December 31. The Knights go into the game with a record of 11-7. Lindsay lost 87-35 in their recent non-league game against Sanger (Sanger, TX)
