North Carolina High School Basketball - Nash Central bests Wake Christian Academy

December 28, 2024: Rocky Mount, NC 27856

The Nash Central Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs to 63 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Gryphons go into the 2A/3A Big East contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Rocky Mount was topped by West Johnston (Benson, NC), 55-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Wilson Christian Academy Chargers (Wilson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Wake Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Chargers go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 57-40 non-league win over Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC).

The Wake Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC) varsity basketball team lost Saturday's neutral tournament game against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC) by a score of 75-63.
