New Jersey High School Basketball - Passaic Valley knocks off Newark Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Passaic Valley Hornets basketball team scored a good 66-46 win over the Newark Academy Minutemen.
The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Passaic (Passaic, NJ). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Passaic was topped by Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ), 64-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Voorhees Vikings (Glen Gardner, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Newark Academy will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 6-0 record after their 59-52 non-league win over Bound Brook (Bound Brook, NJ).
