In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Pecatonica Indians basketball team scored a close 56-54 triumph over the Normal University Pioneers.
The Indians (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL). The Royals go into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Hinckley-Big Rock nipped Newark (Newark, IL), 66-62, in a non-league contest.
