The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA) and the host Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY), observed Norwell's basketball team overwhelm Tappan Zee by a score of 46-25.

The Clippers (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rockland (Rockland, MA). The Bulldogs come into the South Shore challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Rockland was routed by Abington (Abington, MA), 75-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dutchmen battle the Albertus Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Tappan Zee will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, NY).
