The St. Mark's Lions (Dallas, TX) basketball edged the visiting Panther Creek Panthers (Frisco, TX), 54-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host DasCHE for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9.

With the loss, Panther Creek falls to 15-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Celina (Celina, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 4A Region II District 9 bout on Friday, January 3. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 14-9.
