The Pearland Oilers basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Savio Eagles to 26 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Oilers now have a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Round Rock Westwood for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Pearland will confront a Warriors team coming off a 72-45 non-league win over Austin (Austin, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 20-0.

With the loss, Savio falls to 5-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Apaches in a TAPPS 6A District 3 game on Friday, January 10. The Apaches go into the game with a record of 25-3. Antonian Prep won 67-46 in their recent non-league game against San Marcos (San Marcos, TX)
