Pennsylvania High School Basketball - State College nips Phoenixville

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host State College Little Lions basketball team scored a close 55-52 win over the Phoenixville Phantoms.

The Little Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA). The Trojans come into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Chambersburg was tipped by Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA), 50-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Phantoms battle the Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) in a Pioneer - Frontier contest, on Thursday, January 2. Phoenixville will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 64-59 non-league loss to Norristown (Norristown, PA).
