The Ponca Indians basketball team scored 39 points and limited the visiting Plainview Pirates to 25 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Battle Creek for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Plainview falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] (Clearwater, NE) to face the Bobcats in a C2 District 9 match on Tuesday, January 7.
