The Post Antelopes basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Smyer Bobcats to 49 in the Antelopes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Antelopes now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to New Deal for a 2A Region I District 4 game on Tuesday, December 31. Post will confront a Lions team coming off a 60-56 non-league win over Roscoe (Roscoe, TX). The Lions record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Smyer falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Whiteface (Whiteface, TX) to confront the Antelopes in a 2A Region I District 5 game on Friday, January 3. The Antelopes go into the game with a record of 0-2. Whiteface lost 70-36 in their recent league game against Ropes (Ropesville, TX)
