Georgia High School Basketball - Washington County tipped by Academy of Richmond County

December 28, 2024: Sandersville, GA 31082

The Academy of Richmond County Musketeers nipped the host Washington County Golden Hawks basketball squad by a final score of 57-55 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Musketeers clash with the Howard Huskies (Macon, GA) in a AAA Region 4 outing, on Friday, January 3. Academy of Richmond County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Huskies enter the outing with a 2-6 record after their 66-30 league loss to Cross Creek (Augusta, GA).

The Golden Hawks (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast (Macon, GA). The Raiders enter the A D1 Region 2 outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Northeast was nipped by Northgate (Newnan, GA), 66-45, in a non-league outing.
