The South Spartans basketball squad scored 59 points and held the visiting Salesian Mustangs to 50 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.

With the victory, South advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Spartans travel to Beckman (Irvine, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 10-6. Beckman won 52-49 in their recent non-league match against JW North (Riverside, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to JW North for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Salesian will face a Huskies squad coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Beckman (Irvine, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-8.
