In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Scurry-Rosser Wildcats basketball team scored a big 57-29 win over the Whitney Wildcats.
The Wildcats (17-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX). The Chargers come into the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Dallas Christian was trounced by Greenhill (Addison, TX), 79-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Whitney will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record. The Cadets come into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 59-23 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, TX).
