Maryland High School Basketball - Springdale Prep victorious over Winters Mill

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Springdale Prep Lions basketball team scored a good 73-65 triumph over the Winters Mill Falcons.

The Lions (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Friends' Central (Wynnewood, PA). The go into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Friends' Central topped Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA), 50-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the Century Knights (Sykesville, MD) in a Carroll County contest, on Friday, January 3. Winters Mill will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 66-25 non-league win over Catoctin (Thurmont, MD).
