The Gryphons (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Fighting Irish come into the A D1 Region 2 challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Dublin was knocked off by Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA), 41-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Lovejoy will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 58-55 non-league win over Dacula (Dacula, GA).
