In Saturday's non-league contest, the host North Boone Vikings basketball team scored a big 56-25 triumph over the Alden-Hebron Green Giants.
The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL). The Rockets go into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record.
In their next game, the Green Giants confront the South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Alden-Hebron will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Sobos go into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 67-54 non-league loss to Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL).
