Texas High School Basketball - Alpine fells McKinney Christian Academy

The Alpine Bucks basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs to 40 in the Bucks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bucks now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kermit for a 3A Region I District 4 game on Friday, January 3. Alpine will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 55-35 non-league win over Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, McKinney Christian Academy falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX) to confront the Chargers in a TAPPS 4A District 3 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Chargers go into the game with a record of 5-5.
