The Ashe County Huskies bounced the host North Davidson Black Knights basketball squad by a final score of 62-28 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Huskies clash with the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, January 8. Ashe County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.

The Black Knights (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets enter the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Western Guilford was overwhelmed by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 67-39, in a non-league outing.
