The Quitman Bulldogs basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Beebe Badgers to 47 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the victory, Quitman upgrades its record to 17-0 on the year. The Bulldogs host Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Rams enter the match with a record of 8-4. Lakeside won 57-35 in their recent non-league match against Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR)

The Badgers now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Little Rock Southwest for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Beebe will face a Gryphons squad coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Cross County (Cherry Valley, AR). The Gryphons record now stands at 0-13.
