With the victory, Beech upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Buccaneers host East Nashville Magnet (Nashville, TN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 12-0. East Nashville Magnet won 50-33 in their recent non-league match against Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN)

The Gators now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowling Green for a District 14 match on Friday, January 3. Greenwood will face a Purples squad coming off a 48-27 non-league win over Rossview (Clarksville, TN). The Purples record now stands at 4-2.
