The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Berea Pirates to 14 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they travel to Trimble County for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Valley will confront a Raiders team coming off a 65-20 non-league loss to Southwestern (Somerset, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Berea falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Pirates host Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Sunday, December 29. The Indians go into the game with a record of 9-3. Montgomery County won 69-53 in their recent non-league game against Southwestern (Somerset, KY)
