The Bernards Mountaineers basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Metuchen Bulldogs to 30 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mountaineers now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Delaware Valley for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Bernards will confront a Terriers team coming off a 50-27 non-league loss to Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA). The Terriers record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Metuchen falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South River (South River, NJ) to confront the Rams in a Greater Middlesex - Blue game on Monday, January 6. The Rams go into the game with a record of 0-3.
