Texas High School Basketball - San Angelo Central held off by Brenham

In Saturday's non-league test, the Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) basketball squad got by the host San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX), by a score of 29-28.

Next, the Cubs encounter the A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 test, on Friday, January 3. Brenham will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 11-10 record after their 42-34 non-league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX).

The Bobcats (6-15) will now prepare for their test against Graham (Graham, TX). The Steers come into the non-league test with a 8-10 record.
