The Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) basketball toppled the host Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX), 58-39 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Vipers now possess a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Manor for a 6A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, December 31. Vandegrift will play a Mustangs team coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-10.

With the loss, Burnet falls to 9-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX) to play the Mustangs in a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, January 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-15.
