South Carolina High School Basketball - St. Johns Country Day knocks off Cathedral Academy

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Johns Country Day Spartans (Orange Park, FL) and the host Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC), observed St. Johns Country Day's basketball team overcome Cathedral Academy by a margin of 37-28.
The Spartans (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Marion (Santee, SC). The Gators come into the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Lake Marion defeated Hanahan (Hanahan, SC), 42-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Cathedral Academy will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 57-53 non-league win over Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC).
