Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Good Counsel sneaks past Catoctin

The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) basketball edged the host Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), 34-27 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Langley for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Our Lady of Good Counsel will play a Saxons team coming off a 58-21 league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Saxons record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Catoctin falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
