The South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) basketball edged the visiting Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX), 50-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington for a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 31. South Grand Prairie will play a Colts team coming off a 38-22 non-league win over Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Colts record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Cedar Hill falls to 15-5 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Skyline (Dallas, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region II District 11 bout on Monday, December 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Skyline won 57-39 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (Dallas, TX)
