The St. Patrick Fighting Irish (Biloxi, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Christian Collegiate Academy Bulldogs (Gulfport, MS), 44-9 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Fighting Irish now possess a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Tylertown for a 3A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 3. St. Patrick will play a Chiefs team coming off a 41-21 non-league win over Amite County (Liberty, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Christian Collegiate Academy falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Amite School Center (Liberty, MS) to play the Rebels in a MAIS 4A District 5 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Amite School Center lost 52-47 in their recent non-league bout against Silliman Institute (Clinton, LA)
