The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ) and the visiting Cliffside Park Raiders (Cliffside Park, NJ), observed Nutley's basketball team overcome Cliffside Park by a margin of 51-37.

The Maroon Raiders (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Passaic Valley defeated Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ), 39-24, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Cliffside Park will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 40-12 non-league win over Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ).
