In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Gibbs Eagles basketball team scored a big 58-36 triumph over the Clinton County Bulldogs.

The Eagles (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Halls (Knoxville, TN). The Red Devils go into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Halls was trounced by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 62-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) in a District 16 contest, on Friday, January 3. Clinton County will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 8-3 record after their 72-40 non-league loss to Northview Academy (Kodak, TN).
