The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) and the host McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN), observed Floyd Central's basketball team overwhelm McMinn County by a score of 72-48.

The Jaguars (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Cougars / Lady Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record.

In their next game, the Cherokees battle the Bradley Central Bears (Cleveland, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. McMinn County will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record.
