The Irvin Rockets basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was outscored 37-29 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM)

With the victory, Gadsden advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 6-6.
