In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Granada Hills Charter Highlanders basketball team scored a big 58-32 triumph over the Maranatha Minutemen.

The Highlanders (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons go into the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Crescenta Valley was trounced by Marlborough (Los Angeles, CA), 67-59, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 30. Maranatha will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 11-4 record after their 37-32 non-league win over Schurr (Montebello, CA).
