Next, the Wildcats clash with the Palmer Bulldogs (Palmer, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 test, on Friday, January 3. Scurry-Rosser will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 7-17 record after their 41-31 non-league loss to Honey Grove (Honey Grove, TX).

The Indians (13-11) will now prepare for their test against Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX). The Red Devils come into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Chapel Hill went down by Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX), 52-17, in a non-league test.
