Next, the Tigers clash with the Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 outing, on Tuesday, December 31. Gunter will attempt to upgrade on its 20-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 3-15 record after their 53-19 non-league loss to Lindsay (Lindsay, TX).

The Knights (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Slidell (Slidell, TX). The Greyhounds enter the 2A Region II District 13 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Slidell was overwhelmed by China Spring (China Spring, TX), 52-27, in a non-league outing.
