In Saturday's non-league contest, the host West Middlesex Big Reds basketball team scored a big 72-44 win over the Jamestown Muskies.

The Big Reds (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cochranton (Cochranton, PA). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Cochranton was trounced by Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA), 46-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Muskies battle the Cambridge Springs Devils (Cambridge Springs, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 contest, on Monday, December 30. Jamestown will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Devils come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Meadville (Meadville, PA).
