The John Carroll Patriots basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Largo Lions to 51 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Fallston for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. John Carroll will play a Cougars team coming off a 50-37 non-league win over Liberty (Sykesville, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Largo falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Surrattsville (Clinton, MD) to play the Hornets in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A game on Tuesday, January 7. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-2. Surrattsville lost 38-32 in their recent non-league game against Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA)
