The Kalaheo Mustangs basketball squad (Kailua, HI), was crushed 66-17 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Kahuku Red Raiders (Kahuku, HI)
With the victory, Kahuku advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Red Raiders host Castle (Kaneohe, HI) to meet the Knights in a Oahu I - East battle on Saturday, January 4. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 4-3.
The Mustangs now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Moanalua for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 2. Kalaheo will meet a Menehune squad coming off a 68-13 non-league win over McKinley (Honolulu, HI). The Menehune record now stands at 7-7.
