Texas High School Basketball - Montwood trounced by Lancaster

The Montwood Rams basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was crushed 73-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX)

With the victory, Lancaster advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Tigers host Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) to meet the Panthers and Pantherettes in a 6A Region II District 11 battle on Friday, January 3. The Panthers and Pantherettes enter the battle with a record of 15-5. Duncanville won 70-47 in their recent league battle against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX)

The Rams now own a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastwood for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 7.
