The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) and the host Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX), observed Lorena's basketball team knock off Paradise by a score of 43-26.

The Leopards (15-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mumford (Mumford, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Mumford prevailed over Bremond (Bremond, TX), 53-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, December 31. Paradise will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 38-21 non-league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX).
