The Tigers now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hermitage for a Polk County game on Friday, January 3. Walnut Grove will confront a Hornets team coming off a 46-39 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Marionville falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Bolivar (Bolivar, MO) to confront the Liberators in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Liberators go into the game with a record of 5-4.
