Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Northeastern Bobcats (Manchester, PA), 39-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Mechanicsburg advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA) to meet the Falcons in a Mid-Penn - Keystone match on Friday, January 3. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 1-1. Lower Dauphin lost 38-28 in their recent non-league match against Susquehannock (Glen Rock, PA)

The Bobcats now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Susquehannock for a York-Adams 2 match on Friday, January 3. Northeastern will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 36-18 non-league win over Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
