The Waunakee Warriors basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Mineral Point Pointers to 43 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Beaver Dam for a Badger - Large game on Friday, January 3. Waunakee will confront a Golden Beavers team coming off a 49-39 non-league win over Kenosha Bradford (Kenosha, WI). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Mineral Point falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Pointers host Barneveld (Barneveld, WI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-3. Barneveld won 47-34 in their recent non-league game against Shullsburg (Shullsburg, WI)
