The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mission San Jose Warriors (Fremont, CA) and the host North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), observed Mission San Jose's basketball team knock off North Medford by a score of 56-44.

The Warriors (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Dougherty Valley prevailed over Kamehameha Kapalama (Honolulu, HI), 42-32, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Black Tornado clash with the Crater Comets (Central Point, OR) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. North Medford will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Comets come into the test with a 9-1 record after their 78-69 non-league loss to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA).
