Texas High School Basketball - Montgomery triumphant over Spring

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Montgomery Bears (Montgomery, TX) and the host Spring Lions (Spring, TX), observed Montgomery's basketball squad rout Spring by a count of 56-23.

With the victory, Montgomery advances its record to 19-4 on the year. The Bears host Fulshear (Fulshear, TX) to meet the Chargers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 31. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 18-7. Fulshear won 61-17 in their recent non-league battle against Porter (Porter, TX)

The Lions now own a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dekaney for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Friday, January 3. Spring will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 33-22 non-league loss to Stratford (Houston, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-12.
