Ohio High School Basketball - Morgan nudges Ridgewood

December 28, 2024: West Lafayette, OH 43845

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Morgan Raiders (McConnelsville, OH) and the host Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH), saw Morgan's basketball team nip Ridgewood by a tally of 35-31.

The Raiders now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host West Muskingum for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. Morgan will play a Tornadoes team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Loudonville (Loudonville, OH). The Tornadoes record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Ridgewood falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Generals host Malvern (Malvern, OH) to play the Hornets in a Inter-Valley bout on Thursday, January 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
