Ohio High School Basketball - Wauseon thwarts Napoleon

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH) and the host Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH), observed Wauseon's basketball team knock off Napoleon by a score of 43-35.

The Indians (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH). The Tigers come into the Northwest Ohio challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Liberty Center prevailed over Holgate (Holgate, OH), 24-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Patrick Henry Patriots (Hamler, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Napoleon will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 82-37 non-league win over Eastwood (Pemberville, OH).
