California High School Basketball - Natomas nudges Pierce

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) and the visiting Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA), observed Natomas's basketball team edge Pierce by a score of 47-42.

The Nighthawks (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against El Camino (Sacramento, CA). The Eagles come into the Golden Empire League challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, El Camino was tipped by Sheldon (Sacramento, CA), 72-15, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears encounter the Winters Warriors (Winters, CA) in a Sacramento Valley challenge, on Friday, January 3. Pierce will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 32-27 non-league win over Dixon (Dixon, CA).
