The Pittsville Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Necedah Cardinals to 22 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greenwood for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Necedah falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Montello (Montello, WI) to confront the Hilltoppers in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Hilltoppers go into the game with a record of 0-9. Montello lost 59-39 in their recent non-league game against Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI)
