The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Savannah Savages (Savannah, MO) and the host North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO), observed Savannah's basketball team overcome North Andrew by a margin of 37-28.

The Savages (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO). The Eagles come into the Midland Empire challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Bishop LeBlond dropped by Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] (Burlington Junction, MO), 58-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. North Andrew will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 27-22 non-league loss to Bishop LeBlond (St. Joseph, MO).
